Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hear it

We believe in the Expository Teaching of the whole Word of God

"Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men."For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:26-28)

So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.  (Nehemiah 8:8)  

Therefore our worship services are structured around verse by verse teaching of the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

Live it

We believe that the Christian life is a continual process of Sanctification. We should be growing as we continue to walk in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22)

Worship of God is Fruitful. Therefore: We look for His Love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)

Share It

We believe that as we Hear His word and begin to Live it in our lives we will naturally begin to Share His good news of salvation with others around us.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Mat 28:19-20

One of the purposes for the church is for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (Eph.4:12)

This is why we place a big emphasis on teaching chapter by chapter verse by verse through the whole Bible. Because we know that healthy sheep give birth to healthy sheep. If a believer is grounded in the word, he or she will naturally begin to reproduce.

Objective: To establish a Bible teaching Church in the Cranbrook community. To teach the whole counsel of God, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. To see lives impacted and changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and through the working of His Holy Spirit.
